Arrive at Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale International Airport, and take a taxi or Uber to the Port of Miami where you will embark on the beautiful Norwegian Encore.

Your Jwtrips™ Tour Guides will be waiting for you in a designated area of the Cruise Ship to answer any questions and help you get to know the ship.

At night we will have a meet and greet so we can all get to know one another, and perhaps plan some excursions together.

NOTE: Due to security reasons, all guests must be on board at 3:00 PM on day 1 of the cruise.

Puerto Plata (officially known as San Felipe de Puerto Plata) is the ninth-largest city in the Dominican Republic and the capital of the province of Puerto Plata. For spectacular city views, take a ride up the Pico Isabel de Torres mountain which stands over 2,600 feet high.

History buff? Visit Fortaleza San Felipe, which was built in the 16th century and served as a prison under the dictatorship of Rafael Trujillo. Or head to the Amber Museum, a museum filled with a unique collection of valuable Dominican amber which is semiprecious tree sap that has hardened for millions of years capturing many fossils of plant and insect life.

Port Miami Embarkation Day - 5:30 pm

We had a wonderful time! Best Life Trips did an outstanding job on the accommodations, transportation, tour reservations, & places to sightsee. Even the hotels where we stayed, offered an excellent breakfast. Pedro & Debbie went above & beyond for us to enjoy our trip & to make it very faith strengthening one. The stops they selected for the group to have meals were affordable & we had plenty of options. They were also very accommodating to someone in our group who required a special diet. If you want to visit the JW headquarters in NY, Best Life Trips is the way to go!

It was so good to meet all our beautiful spiritual family. There was some great features to the itinerary but I’m sure with further research & experience this could be improved. One negative for me was that the numbers were too large & a reduction in this would make the trip much more comfortable, transport smaller & easier to maneuver. I heard some mention that alternative transport & I agree that ferry & train would be something to consider as opposed to the option of plane travel. Apparently the Manchester Museum we saw in a talk at the convention now has the Bible artifacts we saw available to the public according to someone we spoke to at the British museum & might be something to consider. Having said the above I would nonetheless like to thank you for the opportunity to travel with your company.
